No shade to NaNoWriMo (which I’m also foolishly embarking on this year) but IMO there’s a bit too much socializing crammed into what I’ve always enjoyed as a solitary activity. The key for me is balancing the frenzy of NaNoWriMo with something less demanding. (mbnov)
